Controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate has been charged with rape, human trafficking, and forming an organized crime group. Andrew was charged together with his brother, Tristan Tate, by the Romanian authorities on 20th June 2023.

The charges levelled against them are quite sensitive and if found guilty, the two could be jailed for 20 years in Romanian prison.
The prosecutors have accused the Tate brothers in conjunction with two Romanian females of misleading 7 women , transporting them, and forcing them to participate in sexual activities. Nonetheless, the two brothers have denied these allegations and called this ordeal a political conspiracy designed to silence them.
Andrew and Tristian Tate were arrested in late December 2022 until March 31 2023, when they won an appeal to move them to house arrest. The Romanian authorities have called for the confiscation of the assets owned by the two brothers, which include 15 luxury cars, $3 million held on cryptocurrency, and other luxury watches.
The trial will start in 60 days because the case has to go through the court's preliminary chamber. Tate's legal team is determined to prove that the two are not guilty.
