Kenyan content creator Eric Omondi has been arrested again on his way to Statehouse Nairobi.

The comedian had cart full of boxes bearing the CVs of millions of jobless Kenyans. Initially, he had shared a photo and videos of the cart on social media.

"Mimi staki kuweka maisha ya watu hatarini. Mimi nilienda nicacollect CVs, ziko hapa 3 million napelekea mheshimiwa William Samoei Ruto aone watu wake wenye wameenda university na hawana kazi."

Omondi had asked Kenyans to send him their CVs, promising to be their voice and advocate for their rights.He had stated that he was willing to fight for the rights of jobless Kenyans and was ready to die if necessary. He expressed his belief that the President did not fully understand the hardships that Kenyans were facing. 

"If my life will be the reason the voice of the voiceless was heard so be it. I am saying this because from now we are not stopping."

Eric Omondi was arrested while trying to fulfill his promise of delivering CVs to the President William Ruto and his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua. 

His arrest took place along Uhuru Highway and taken to Central Police Station.

This is the third time Eric Omondi is being arrested this year.

He was first arrested on February 21 alongside 17 others while leading a protest against the cost of living.

On March 1, he was arrested again while distributing packets of unga to Kenyans at City Stadium.
